We serve food in the 20 seats dining room, on the terrace or in the garden.
Each of these food serving areas offers a different experience by their design and atmosphere.
The home cooked meal from grandma’s recipes is traditional and made of fresh products grown locally. Most of the ingredients are made by us. The eggplants and tomatoes stew (Romanian “zacusca”), the sausages, the confiture and many other products can satisfy the most exquisite taste. Cheese is provided by our neighbours, the shepherds, fresh from the sheep yard. We have our own dishes like Bassen Guesthouse soup or the Saxon pork barrel that will definitely seduce you. Our home made sweets will make you lick your fingers like you’re a child again.
The secret ingredient for all of these tasty dishes is our feeling and the love we put in our cooking for you.
As for drinks, they are also special. We would be more than delighted to welcome you with slivovitz, bilberry brandy, sour cherry liqueur and our home made wine. At the end all that’s missing is a black cherry liqueur, a digestive drink you will definitely like.
